Thyroid Awareness Camp was organized on 22 nd April 2013, in a public garden at Paldi, Ahmedabad educating people for symptoms of Thyroid and need for early diagnosis.147 people were screened for TSH test. Those with abnormality were further tested for T3T4. Out of 147 patients screened, 6 new patients were identified having Hypothyroid and one new patient was identified with Hyperthyroid.
