It was observed that poor urban population in Ahmedabad required quality services of a family physician from a qualified doctor at an affordable price. Hence, in May 2011, in a small way, Sanjivani Arogya Kendra (urban) was started to provide medical care to poor urban population at a nominal cost.
Early detection of diabetes, hypertension, heart problems and other diseases can prevent patients from critical illness. Hence, we intend to expand this activity to provide testing facility for blood sugar and hypertension, ECG and to provide consultation with physician at a very low cost to poor urban population.
